Curtis Cregan Tribute!


Good Night!!! As I promised I'm now writing a post, a tribute to our favorite Hi-5 to South Cephire. It's CURTIS CREGAN!!! YEAH!!! WOOHOO!!!
Curtis' complete name is Curtis John Cregan, and he was born in Okemos, Michigan, in U.S.A. (at the Northwest of the Earth), he grew up in Lansing, and some time ago he felt attracted to Orlando, Florida. But now he lives in New York (which he calls it his home). He was born in January 18th of 1977, so now, he's 32 years old. He's the middle brother, I mean, he's the second of 3 brothers, his family are his brothers Gavin and David and his parents.
When he was at the hi-school he started his musical affairs with choral director Frank K. DeWald. Then, he studied in the Interlochen Arts Academy and the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, where he met the one who would be one of his partners in Hi-5 the first time, Jennifer Peterson-Hind (the favorite Hi-5 to Cephire Downtown). His first job was a performance as a host for the Nickelodeon show at Paramount's Kings Island in Ohio.
When he left the college, he made his first debut in "Rent" (Broadway, Benny Tour) as Gordon, the man, Mr. Grey and other characters. Curtis was elated to be joining the Rent family, and was excited to make his Broadway debut.
Curtis also acted in "Grease", first, giving a tour through Europe (at the North of the Earth), then at the American Theatre of San Jose. Curtis' character was Doody and he was excited (again) to act as Doody. Curtis has raveled a lot so he was famous in the North and the Northwest of the Earth, and he was chosen to play Doody 'cause the select audiences for Grease saw him playing Mark Cohen in Rent, and they liked him.
Other roles Curtis played before Hi-5 were: Billy from "Anything goes", one of the Von Trapp family members from "The sound of Music", Dickon from "The secret garden", and the Pinball Lad from "The who's Tommy".
In 2003 Curtis joined Hi-5, the Emmy-nominated children's show, in its American version, where he explains some fundaments of music and teaches us how we can make music with any chatter we find. Curtis also provides his voice to Jup-Jup, the mischievous puppet who is always messing with Kimee (the favorite Hi-5 to East Cephire) in her wall.
Some time ago, Curtis and his partner Jenn (Peterson-Hind) had an engagement, even in early Hi-5 episodes, but their engagement no longer continued, then Jenn married actor Tom Korbee and Curtis married Broadway actress Jenn Gambatese (the same name, what a coincidence) on June 30th, 2007.
There are no American Hi-5 new episodes 'cause Discovery Kids doesn't want to record new episodes, so American Hi-5 are only doing live performances around the Earth. But there are new episodes from the Australian Hi-5.
Finally, on January 2009, it was announced that Curtis and his wife were expecting their first baby, and, on May 12th, 2009; Josephine, their first daughter was born.
Curtis doesn't have any pets now, but he said goldfish don't pack very well in a suitcase, and he had a dog pet named Lincoln, so it means dogs and goldfish are his favorite animals.
Curtis says he's goofy, adventurous, but overall, friendly (and you all know what friendship is to me).
Curtis' favorite role was Dickon in the Secret Garden, and his favorite job was RENT in the Benny Tour.
Curtis' dream role and job are being in Hi-5, and he wonders what Hi-5 will bring.
Curtis's favorite hobbies are dodging cabbies and pedestrians on his roller blades, he's also a loving cook and loves to take long trips on his motorcycle (be careful Curtis, you remember the accident Tim Harding had, don't you?).
Curtis' favorite color is green, and his favorite musicians or bands are Chet Baker, Miles Davis, Radiohead, U2 and Pavarotti.
Curtis' favorite tv show is 24, his favorite movie is "The Lord of the Rings", his favorite food is Pizza and his favorite sport is the hockey.
When he was a kid, he loved to watch cartoons on TV. His favorite Hi-5 weekly song was "Living in a Rainbow" and his favorite Hi-5 role was the big purple grumpy troll who loves the quiet.
He already saw the original Australian version and he already met the Australian cast. He says they're wonderful people.
Curtis Says that dancing with the children gives him lots of energy and hearing them singing the Hi-5 songs makes him happy.
He'd move to Australia if it wasn't too far (because Australia is located in the Southeast of the Earth, and U.S.A. is in the Northwest, just on the other side, OMG!).

Finally, I'd like to say Curtis is very handsome, I like his blond hair, his aquamarine eyes, his charming smile, even his hands are perfect; I like the way he sings, the way he does in Hi-5. He's the perfect man in the whole universe and he really looks younger than he really is. Too bad he's already married, besides, he's 32 and I'm only 13.
I wish my boyfriend didn't read this post, because if he did, he'd get jealous and I'd be involved in a serious trouble with the Fahrish Imperial Family, OOPS! And you don't go telling him, OK?

Buenas Noches!!! Como prometí, voy a escribir un post, un tributo a nuestro Hi-5 favorito del Sur de Céfiro. Es CURTIS CREGAN!!! EEAA!!! UUUU!!!
El nombre completo de Curtis es Curtis John Cregan y nació en Okemos, Michigan, en U.S.A. (al Noroeste de la Tierra), creció en Lansing y en algún tiempo atrás, se sintió atraído a Orlando, Florida. Pero ahora vive en Nueva York (al que llama su hogar). Nació el 18 de Enero de 1977, asíque ahora él tiene 32 años de edad. El es el hermano de enmedio, ó sea, es el segundo de 3 hermanos, su familia son sus hermanos Gavin y David, su mamá y su papá.
Cuando él estaba en el hi-school (secundaria) inició sus asuntos musicales con el director coral Frank K. DeWald. Luego, estudió en la Academia de Arte Interlochen y en el Conservatorio de Música de Cincinnati, donde conoció por primera vez a la que sería una de sus compañeras en Hi-5, Jennifer Peterson-Hind (la Hi-5 favorita del Centro de Céfiro). Curtis ha viajado mucho, tanto, que se volvió famoso en el Norte y el Noroeste de la Tierra, y fue elegido para hacer de Doody porque los de las audiencias selectivas para Grease lo miraron haciendo de Mark Cohen en Rent, y les gustó.
Otros papeles que Curtis hizo antes de Hi-5 fueron: Billy de "Todo es válido", un miembro de la familia Von Trapp de "El sonido de la Música", Dickon de "El jardín Secreto", y el chico del Pinball en "The who's Tommy".
En el 2003 Curtis se unió a Hi-5, el show para pibes nominado al Emmy en su versión Americana, en donde él explica fundamentos de música y nos enseña cómo podemos hacer música con cualquier cháchara que encontremos. Curtis también le presta su voz a Jup-Jup, el travieso muñequito que siempre le hace travesuras a Kimee (la Hi-5 favorita del Este de Céfiro) en su pared.
En algún tiempo, Curtis y su compañera Jenn (Peterson-Hind) tuvieron un noviazgo, hasta en los primeros episodios de Hi-5, pero su noviazgo ya no continuó, luego, Jenn se casó con el actor Tom Korbee y Curtis se casó con la actriz de Broadway Jenn Gambatese (qué casualidad, el mismo nombre) el 30 de Junio del 2007.
Ya no hay nuevos episodios de la versión Americana de Hi-5 porque Discovery Kids ya no quiero grabarlos, asíque los Hi-5 Americanos ya sólo hacen shows en vivo por toda la Tierra. Pero sí hay nuevos episodios de la versión Australiana de Hi-5.
Finalmente, en Enero del 2009, se anunció que Curtis y su esposa estaban esperando a su primer bebé, y el 12 de Mayo del 2009 nació Josephine, su primera hija.
Ahora Curtis no tiene mascotas, pero dijo que los peces dorados no caben bien en una maleta, y tuvo un perro de nombre Lincoln, ó sea que, los peces dorados y los perros son sus animales favoritos.
Curtis dice que es... fácil hacerlo reir, es aventurero, pero encima de todo es amistoso (y ustedes saben lo que la amistad significa para mí).
El papel favorito de Curtis ha sido Dickon del Jardín Secreto, y su trabajo favorito ha sido el Benny Tour de RENT.
El trabajo y papel ideales para Curtis sigue siendo estar en Hi-5, y se pregunta lo que Hi-5 traerá.
Un hobby favorito de Curtis es esquivar taxeros y transeúntes cuando va en patines, también ama cocinar y le encanta hacer viajes largos en su moto (cuidado Curtis, recordás el accidente que tuvo Tim Harding, ó no?).
El color favorito de Curtis es el verde, y sus músicos ó bandas favoritas son: Chet Baker, Miles Davis, Radiohead, U2 y Pavarotti.
La serie favorita de Curtis es 24, su pelicula favorita es la del Señor de los Anillos, su comida favorita es la pizza y su deporte favorito es el hockey.
Cuando él era un nene, le encantaba mirar dibujitos animados por la TV. Su canción semanal favorita de Hi-5 es Living in a Rainbow (Colores) y su papel favorito de Hi-5 es el del gran Troll morado y gruñón que amaba el silencio.
Curtis ya ha visto la versión original Australiana y ya conoció a los Hi-5 Australianos. Dice que son gente maravillosa.
Curtis dice que bailar con los peques le da mucha energía y oirlos cantar las canciones de Hi-5 lo hacen feliz.
Curtis se mudaría a Australia si no le quedara tan lejos (porque Australia está en el Sureste de la Tierra y U.S.A. está en el Noroeste, justo del otro lado, UUY!).

Finalmente quisiera decir que Curtis es guapíssimo, me gusta su cabello rubio, sus ojos aquamarina, su sonrisa encantadora, hasta sus manos son perfectas; me gusta el modo como canta, el modo cómo llo hace en Hi-5. El es el hombre perfecto en todo el universo y realmente se ve más joven de lo que realmente es. Que mal que ya casó, además, el tiene 32 años y yo sólo tengo 13.
Ojalá mi novio no haya leído éste post, porque si sí, se pondría celoso, y yo estaría metida en un gravíssimo problema con la Familia Imperial de Faren, UPS! Y ustedes no vayan a decirle nada, vale?
